Deliriant is Shane Renew, from Cape Town, South Africa. With a lifelong passion for music, over a decade of DJ and production experience, 3 full albums, a multitude of single releases on a host of local and international labels, and a career as a studio engineer – he is a well-established artist in an ever-changing industry.
Signed to Solar Tech Records, Deliriant has performed at top parties all over South Africa, as well as a number of international festivals in Australia, Europe, Mexico and more, while his music has contributed to a wide range of number 1 releases on labels worldwide. His sets deliver an energy packed ride, riddled with dark atmospheres, intense breakdowns, clever drops, driving basslines, psychedelic leads and an always solid groove.
With his top-notch production and intelligent arrangement, his music is powerful and driving, yet still provides the listener with a taste of clarity, streamlined minimalism, and a melodic feel. This is music from the future – watch this space.
This is a blistering, fast-paced and high energy set from one of my faves, DJ Bernz. He’s always right on the pulse, delivering great tunes, and the wryest sense of humour. Check out this bio 🙂
“They have requested a biography from me that is supposed to give you an idea of what kind of DJ I am and perhaps even give you an idea of what kind of person I am. It is supposed to have information about when I started DJing, what type of music I enjoy and maybe even artists who inspire my original production. This would be the part where I would list the parties I’ve played at and also any famous DJs that you might have heard of that I’ve shared the stage with. To round it all off I’d put a catchy little slogan at the end with the intent that you would remember this particular biography, my biography.”
“Blacklite Records proudly presents the debut album from the dynamic Mexican/Swiss Duo Stereoxide! Aptly titled: ‘Tryptamine Tales’, each track is an audio journey through the various states of the altered mind. These Tales of cosmic exploration have taken more than a year to create, a journey that started on the beaches of ‘Koh Tao’, collaborating with inter stellar artists along the way, such as Animalien, Art Materials, Endeavour, Mental Broadcast and Mirok.. Destination ‘Singular ET’ is on the ‘event horizon’ and this is the perfect soundtrack to accompany you for ‘teleportation’.. \\Fasten Your Seatbelts!”

HypoGeo is “Anything that originates, grows and evolves beneath the earth”.
The description perfectly fits the music: deep, obscure, hypnotic, mental, filthy and psychedelic.
It takes shades through the producer’s musical background: orchestrated by extreme metal, industrial & EBM, New Wave, Noise, techno, IDM & dark ambient.
May 2012 marked the inception of HypoGeo’s introduction to the wider world of music. The first full-length album “Tree of Lies” was released on Zenon records – the infamous Australian psychedelic label. The album was a huge success for the particularly aggressive and heavy sound, building the bridge between the deepest of psychedelic trance textures, some call it “forest” and the ultimate “Zenonesque” sound. No matter what the title, the awe of experiencing a live Hypo-performance is second to none, anywhere around the globe.
Currently, HypoGeo is working on the long awaited 2nd studio album; an epitome of creativity, abstract sonic landscapes, and undeniably intricate composition.
Xabanga is the psychedelic trance project of Greek born, South African Lio Mihos, aimed at delivering a focused and completely accidental musical adventure. The music produced in this project is the product of shared knowledge between friends, strangers, curious mates and homies and it is made for the enjoyment of a psychedelic nature. —————————————————————————————————————- It was the year 2008, at the tender age of 16 I had just started my venture into DJing techno and investing all of my time in learning how to work these machines called decks. Suddenly it was 2010, I relinquished my drum set and invested in an old but still operational computing unit. This is when my first music project, Vector, was born and is signed with Zulutunes (SA) to date. After experimenting with alternative trance music, the idea of the Xabanga project was created during a tour through Europe in the summer of 2015. This was during my final year at film school in which I specialised in Sound Design for visual projects. Using my knowledge acquired from my time in looniversity and combining it with my journey in Hi Tech trance, Xabanga was a concept that needed to be materialised through the speaker cone. Now, in 2017, Xabanga has been signed to Digital Shamans Records (Swiss) and soon the first EP will release.
In this project you will find riding basslines that groove into cheeky motifs and aggressive leads, followed by designs in spaces that make no sense that project into your brizain.
Tania Radillo started to mix at the young age of 16 in her home town of Guadalajara and was soon DJing around the country. She embarked on her first European tour at the age of 18, during which she had the opportunitty to play at festivals such as: Solstice Festival in Holland; Tundra Festival in Lithuania and other events in Switzerland, UK, Denmark and Spain. After this tour she was invited to be label DJ for Bom Shanka Music and a few years after she joined Catalyst Records in the same capacity.
She continued touring in and outside Mexico, always looking for avant-garde sounds to evolve her music style. Nowadays that style could be described as a combination of pure, seriously-psychedelic full on with forest vibes, suitable for any time of night or day.
During the 12 years of Tania’s career she has had the chance to perform for some of the best psytrance dancefloors in the world, including: Vortex in South Africa, VooV Experience in Germany; Eclipse Festival in Canada; One Love & Reisefieber in Switzerland; Ometeotl, Ritual & Moonshine Gathering in Mexico; BAT in Argentina; Dimension Festival in New Zealand, Festival Solar in Peru, and many other parties in cities such as: Cape Town, Dubai, Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, Paris, Lyon, Venice, Amsterdam, Vienna, Antwerp, Guatemala, Salvador, and, of course, almost every city in her homeland Mexico. Her forthcoming performances at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2019 in Australia and at the next OZORA Festival in Hungary will be new highlights in her career.
As well as a world-class DJ, Tania is also a talented producer and Pollyfonika tracks have been released on labels such as: Samaa; Sangoma; PsynOpticz; Phantasm; Liquid and Mutagen. Pollyfonika tracks have been remixed by: Module Virus; Assimilon; Barak and L.E.O.F. Past collaborations include a side project with Tron called Floating Point. Tania is currently working hard in the studio and has a new project to be announced soon.
In the mean time, as a new representative of the Italian label Blacklite Records, she is working at present on her first VA compilation, to be be released at the beginning of 2019. So far the track list includes music from: Ingrained Instincts, Virtual Light, Tron, Double Helix, Barak, Nukleall, Endeavour, Kusabi, Paratech with more to be announced.
TAS Visuals creates some of the best psychedelic video mapping in the world. His style of using 3d worms and snake-like creatures is easily recognisable and the depth of his creations is spectacular. Layer upon layer combines to create a moving painting, which I can watch for days.
Rarely have I ever seen a visual artist with so much appeal in his creations. A clip of digital hands moving at Vortex was particularly engaging for me. I’ve seen George use it a few times in different pieces. The hands, left and right, flow back and forth, creating a hypnotic rhythm that leads me to a trancelike state. Combined with good music, it is electrifying.
I got to open the main floor after a rocking opening party on the beach. The huge sound system being blasted for the first time was heard 4 km’s away, so much fun! The floor was packed and it went down a treat, some deep and dark psychedelic journey music.
