This was one of my best sets and I’m so glad I played it at Vortex. Vortex is a favourite on my calendar. After moving to a new venue this year, with tons of drama from people trying to stop the party, the Vortex crew has surpassed themselves! The new venue is even better than the old, in a beautiful Blue Gum Tree forest.

So much fun was had by all. I managed to lose my wallet on Saturday, always a stupid thing to do. Someone handed it in and I managed to get it back on Sunday, with all my card and drivers license in! The community and friendly vines there are phenomenal, make a plan to get there next year.

MATHAME is the audio project born from the brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli. They grew on their parents “Radio Taxi” remnants , a rock – based radio active in northern Italy along the 80’s. In 2013, while living in a forest at the slopes of the most active volcano in Europe, the mount Etna, they started to work together and develope their unique sound imaginary.

Artelligent, aka Adam Metcalfe, aka Headroom, is the Techno side of this talented producer and DJ. His sets combine beautiful Techno with intelligent music, taking the listener on a lovely journey. He filled in at Noisily Festival 2016 for Worakls and had been booked again on the strength of that set.

This set is an easy listening Techno journey, slow paced and aesthetically pleasing. Perfect for a chilled afternoon.
