“OUT!! My set is now available on my YouTube channelĀ ❤️ That was very special! Hope you like it”
Fernanda Pistelli is fast becoming one of my favourite Techno queens. Her music is well thought out, psychedelic, sexy and intelligent. She is subtle, beautiful and draws me in. I haven’t not enjoyed a set of hers yet.

Xabanga is the psychedelic trance project of Greek born, South African Lio Mihos, aimed at delivering a focused and completely accidental musical adventure. The music produced in this project is the product of shared knowledge between friends, strangers, curious mates and homies and it is made for the enjoyment of a psychedelic nature. —————————————————————————————————————- It was the year 2008, at the tender age of 16 I had just started my venture into DJing techno and investing all of my time in learning how to work these machines called decks. Suddenly it was 2010, I relinquished my drum set and invested in an old but still operational computing unit. This is when my first music project, Vector, was born and is signed with Zulutunes (SA) to date. After experimenting with alternative trance music, the idea of the Xabanga project was created during a tour through Europe in the summer of 2015. This was during my final year at film school in which I specialised in Sound Design for visual projects. Using my knowledge acquired from my time in looniversity and combining it with my journey in Hi Tech trance, Xabanga was a concept that needed to be materialised through the speaker cone. Now, in 2017, Xabanga has been signed to Digital Shamans Records (Swiss) and soon the first EP will release.
In this project you will find riding basslines that groove into cheeky motifs and aggressive leads, followed by designs in spaces that make no sense that project into your brizain.
TAS Visuals creates some of the best psychedelic video mapping in the world. His style of using 3d worms and snake-like creatures is easily recognisable and the depth of his creations is spectacular. Layer upon layer combines to create a moving painting, which I can watch for days.
Rarely have I ever seen a visual artist with so much appeal in his creations. A clip of digital hands moving at Vortex was particularly engaging for me. I’ve seen George use it a few times in different pieces. The hands, left and right, flow back and forth, creating a hypnotic rhythm that leads me to a trancelike state. Combined with good music, it is electrifying.
Seldom do two such famous musicians meet and manage to capture such a great moment and conversation, summing up so much and discovering so much in common. The art of great conversation. A rare privilege…
